Gettin Crafty Challenge Week #4

Ok, so with the crazy sickness that hit our house over the last week I am a little behind on the Gettin Crafty Challenge. You know at first I was all bent out of shape that I didn't post things on time for the last week but then I sat and thought... life is just like that sometimes, especially with kids and a business. You just never know what kind of craziness will be thrown your way.

For this years advent calendar, I wanted to do something a little different so with Xander's help, we came up with a cool idea using felt, buttons, posterboard and envelopes. Here is our finished product...

We keep it sitting on the fireplace unless of course we start a fire. Then it ends up beside the Christmas tree. Each envelope has a little "treat" written on it and they get to choose one from the basket. I put candies and little goodies it in from the dollar store. All in all, I think this project cost about $8.00 (including the treats).
