Now, we get down to the good stuff....presents! ;) On Christmas Eve we went to my Mom's house where my sister, her husband and all of my nephews met us. We had snacks and opened presents...it was a blast! I think by now everyone knows that live in GA so I have a bit of a southern accent. I don't think it is as thick as anyone else in my family which is hilarious to me since we all grew up in the same house. My sister married a good ole country boy so I think hers is the worst. When we all get together we either end up making fun of their accent or The Baconators since he is from NY and is completely out of place. All in fun I promise! ;) A few photos from the night...

Everyone has a stocking on my Mom's mantle. Mine and my sister's have been the same since I was about 10.

The Baconator taking it easy!

My littlest nephew all covered in presents! He kept pulling things into his car seat.
After we got home, The Baconator and I exchanged presents. I got a tripod for my camera and an iTunes card...sweet! We got The Baconator a coffee grinder and two DVDs from the Discovery Channel (one about Dinosaurs and the other about Planes...yes, we know he is a big ol nerd!)
Christmas morning was awesome! The kids even slept until about 9:00 am so I was happy. ;)

Santa brought an felt food set from
The Little Love Bug. We are going to be doing lots of "cooking" in Gia's kitchen.

Gia enjoying her new toys. Her big gift was a bike but I am leaving a whole post for the experience of riding it the first time.
Xander's big gift was an XBox360... he hasn't stopped playing it since yesterday! Well, he did take a break to go to GameStop today to redeem his gift card. And don't think The Baconator hasn't been in there the whole time...is that considered male bonding? ;) All in all it was a great Christmas and I am a little sad it's over. The kids are home all next week but I am going back to work on Monday so I am going to take the rest of the weekend and veg!
